Easter greeting / Easter competition
Gamification in marketing through "digital scratch card"
Customisable + ready to use:
Offer your customers a digital scratch card. You can customise the content yourself by adding the supplied image files:
- Design a simple Easter greeting.
Or
- Offer your customers a general voucher code.
The following example shows the possibility of a competition by displaying a 5% voucher code.
IMPORTANT: As the retailer, you are responsible for customising the competition - the voucher code, conditions etc. must be added to the target image yourself.
How it works:
The game consists of only five files:
- HTML file (or HTML snippet)
- Javascript file with the game logic
- Foreground image "ScratchLayer.png" (must be in PNG format!)
- Background image without winning text "ScratchImageNoWin.png" (loser)
- Background image with winning text "ScratchImageWin.png" (winner)
You can save all five files in a folder directly on your own web server and they work without any further programming work.
For your own design, you will also receive:
One foreground image "ScratchLayer_toEdit.png" and
One background image without text "ScratchImage_toEdit.png"
You can use these image files to create corresponding images with your own messages. Please save these under the same file names as the original game files (‘ScratchLayer.png’, ‘ScratchImageNoWin.png’, ‘ScratchImageWin.png’ and thus overwrite the previous images. The game logic displays one of the two background image files at random and therefore always expects both image files. If you only want to use a single motif as the target image, save this identical image under BOTH file names.
