LED lighting systems have now become an integral part of the aquarium hobby. They are also being used more and more in the terrarium hobby. They are very often included when you buy a new aquarium, but it is also easy to convert existing aquariums to LED lighting.
With the SunStrip holders, SOLAR STINGER® and SOLAR RAPTOR® offer a wide range of options for mounting the SunStrip LED bars on the aquarium or terrarium. Whether the aquarium or terrarium is open at the top or enclosed, whether the lighting is mounted on the rim of the aquarium or suspended from the ceiling, whether it is simply placed on top or screwed into place, or fitted into existing T5 or T8 fluorescent tube sockets – anything is possible. SunStrips can even be connected end-to-end using the ConnectorPlate and joined side-by-side using the ExtenderPlate.
The holders are attached to the SunStrips using a special rail profile located on the top of the strips. The holders are inserted there and secured with a screw.
