SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt EVG
The SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt ECG is an electronic ballast for terrarium spotlights that offers three different power levels in just one device. It can be set to an output of 35 W, 50 W or 70 W and therefore offers maximum flexibility. Many terrarium lamps, such as the popular HID lamps, require an electronic ballast to operate. The required power of the electronic ballast depends on the requirements of the connected spotlight.
Just one appliance for all seasons
For many animals, the seasons are usually simulated by using a lower-intensity HID lamp in winter than in summer. The disadvantage: as different ballast strengths are required, there is always an ECG lying around unused…

Thanks to the new SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt ECG, your customers are now equipped for spotlights of different strengths with a single ballast: Because the multi ECG is sufficient for all seasons: Simply and safely select the required intensity using the three-stage slider on the Multi-Watt ECG. And there’s no need for annoying switching between different ballasts…
Like the SOLAR RAPTOR® ECGs with fixed wattage, the Multi-Watt ECG comes completely ready for connection and is fitted with the practical SOLAR RAPTOR® connectors. With these connectors, it can be quickly and easily combined with the SOLAR REPTILE® ClampLamps. Of course, it can also be connected to any other standard terrarium socket!
Needless to say that, as with all SOLAR RAPTOR® products, safety is the top priority with the Multi-Watt ECG:
The ignition cable is made of heat-resistant silicone and the aluminum housing generates only a small amount of heat.
