SOLAR STINGER® SunStrip III 35 Fresh black edition
SOLAR STINGER® now offers the SunStrip 35 Fresh lighting system for aquariums in a new look — the SunStrip III 35 Fresh black edition.
Wrapped in an elegant matt black design, the new SunStrip III 35 Fresh black edition naturally has all the good features of its predecessor:
- Brilliant light spectrum – suitable for all freshwater aquarium types (no color adjustment required!).
- High color rendering
- Wide-area light distribution
- A total of five different color channels
- Combined warm white and cool white LEDs for a lighting atmosphere close to nature.
- RGB LEDs for color simulations, from stunning sunrises and sunsets to futuristic, custom color settings!
- Optimal control with the proven SolarRaptor/SolarStinger CON1.
- Modular: Multiple strips can be linked together and powered with just one appropriately sized DRV power supply – therefore, the power supplies are sold separately in various wattages (NO power supply included in the package so as not to limit the customer’s options).
- Extremely slim aluminum design in elegant matte black.
- Glass cover for abrasion-resistant light transmission.
- Multiple mounting options with the **SunStrip Holders** via the integrated profile rail.
More brightness, virtually endless colors.
The combination of evenly distributed, warm white and cool white LEDs brings more luminosity to the aquarium and also ensures a natural lighting climate. This benefits the aquarium plants in particular, but also the fish shine in new splendor.
Speaking of brilliance: the brilliant light spectrum is completed by the additional RGB LEDs (red, green, blue). These three color channels give the light bar a total of 5 light channels – each of which can be controlled individually as an option.
The CON1 control unit (available as an option) not only allows you to adjust the amount of light, it also enables practically infinite color simulations — from natural sunrise and sunset scenarios (pre-programmed in the CON1) to your own custom color play. Simply give free rein to your own creativity!
Modular linkable with just one power supply.
The SOLAR STINGER® SunStrip III 35 FRESH has a power consumption of 35 watts per meter and requires an additional DRV power supply for operation (not included!). For maximum flexibility, the LED strips can be modularly linked. The required power supply is then determined by the sum of the wattages of the connected strips (plus any optional additional devices such as the CON1). So, simply add up all the wattages and choose the DRV power supply with a power rating that exceeds the calculated total.
Example calculation:
A DRV2 60 W is required to operate two SOLAR STINGER® SunStrip III 35 FRESH black edition in 650 mm, each with 23 watts.
The connection is made via a Y-cable or with the CON1.
Elegant design, flexible installation.
The aluminum profile in elegant matt black on the light reliably dissipates the heat generated and also serves as a mounting rail for the SunStrip Holder. Flexibility is also the overriding principle here: the practical rail allows a wide variety of individual attachments above the aquarium — from placing or screwing on, to suspending from the ceiling, to inserting into existing T8 or T5 fluorescent tube sockets, everything is possible. Even connecting two SunStrips in length!
And another advantage: existing JUWEL® and EHEIM/MP® aquarium covers can be converted using the practical SunStrip covers.
