SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III 35 Reptile black edition
The SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III 35 Reptile black edition is perfect for all terrarium owners who want a powerful LED light with an additional UV-A component for their terrariums. Thanks to its natural light spectrum, the SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III 35 Reptile takes modern terrarium lighting to a whole new level. The UV-A part ensures the well-being of the animals and the special color brilliance lets the terrarium animals shine in all their glory.
All of the terrarium light’s LEDs (white, red, green, blue) are dimmable and each channel can be controlled individually using the separately available control unit CON1.
Nature-identical sunrises and sunsets as well as moonlight can be activated directly “at the touch of a button”, thanks to pre-installed scenarios or any preferred scenario can be customized as desired. You can also create your own color settings and scenes. Once saved, the programmed scenario can be enjoyed again and again at set times. Or you can always try out new ideas…
Unlike conventional fluorescent tubes, HQL or HQI lamps, the SunStrip 35 Reptile produces no radiant heat and only a small amount of heat of its own. This not only saves energy, but also protects the terrarium from overheating and does not interfere with the fine adjustment of the terrarium climate — particularly important in the increasingly warmer summer temperatures.
Thanks to the extremely long service life with a rated service life of 50,000 hours and virtually constant light output, there is also no need to replace the light sources regularly.
Like its predecessors, the SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip III Reptile black edition is clad in a flat aluminium casing, but unlike the previous standard editions, the black edition is completely in elegant black. However, the black edition of course is also manufactured using only environmentally friendly materials that are free from mercury.
The top of the LED light features the special aluminum profile typical of SunStrip. This profile dissipates heat and protects the LEDs from overheating. In addition, the profile also serves as an ingenious mounting rail for the“SunStrip Holder” (which are available in black now, too).
The large selection of 10 different holders allows the most flexible mounting options: From simply placing the SunStrip on the terrarium, to screwing it on, to suspending it from the ceiling or integrating it into existing T8 or T5 fluorescent tube sockets — anything is possible with the “SunStrip Holders”.
In addition, several SunStrips can be connected together along their length and thus operated with just one (appropriately dimensioned) driver.
The bundle includes a SunStrip with a suitably dimensioned driver.
