The SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip 35 REPTILE is an LED light with UV-A for terrariums.
It combines energy efficiency, long life, natural light spectrum and sophisticated functionality in a flat aluminium design.
All LEDs (white, red, green, blue) are dimmable and can be controlled via the CON1 control unit. This allows you to simulate sunrises, sunsets or moonlight and to save your individual colour settings and scenes.
Its light rendition gives terrariums a very natural look and increases the colour brilliance of the animals. With 120° beam angle, a generous illumination is achieved.
In contrast to conventional fluorescent tubes, HQL or HQI lamps, it does not develop any radiant heat and only little heat of its own. This is a great advantage, especially in summer when temperatures are high and terrariums are overheated, and it does not disturb the terrarium climate.
The SOLAR RAPTOR® SunStrip 35 REPTILE has a power consumption of 35 watts per meter and requires an additional DRV power supply unit. This is because it is also possible to operate several LED strips with one DRV. To do this, the wattages of the individual strips are calculated together and the DRV power supply unit with the corresponding wattage is selected.
The strips can be connected either with a Y-cable or with CON1.
On the top of the LED luminaire there is a special aluminium profile. This profile reliably dissipates the heat generated and also serves as a mounting rail for the SunStrip Holder.
Depending on the mounting requirements and possibilities, the appropriate holders can be selected. Everything is possible with the SunStrip Holders, from placing them on the ceiling, to screwing them on, to hanging them from the ceiling or in existing T8 or T5 fluorescent tube sockets. SunStrips can even be connected to each other in length.
