SOLAR STINGER\u00ae & SOLAR RAPTOR\u00ae CON1<\/h3>\n

The CON1 is a control unit for all SOLAR STINGER\u00ae and SOLAR RAPTOR\u00ae products that are operated with a DRV<\/a> power supply unit.<\/p>\n

Settings can be made directly via the display or via mini USB cable (not included) on the PC (operating system Windows XP or newer required). The required software can be found here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

On and off times can be set, the light can be raised and lowered slowly or kept generally dimmed if it is too strong.<\/p>\n

Some products, such as the SOLAR STINGER\u00ae SunStrip III 35 FRESH<\/a>, the SOLAR STINGER\u00ae SunStrip 70 MARINE<\/a> or the SOLAR RAPTOR\u00ae SunStrip 35 REPTILE<\/a> have RGB LEDs. This makes it possible, for example, to simulate sunrises and sunsets and adjust the colour gradient correspondingly or make other colour changes if considered necessary. <\/p>\n

At this point it should be mentioned once again that the light spectra of all SOLAR STINGER\u00ae\/SOLAR RAPTOR\u00ae SunStrips are ideally designed for their area of application (plant and coral growth) and do not need to be optimized by changing the color settings! Therefore, all LEDs should be controlled in equal proportions. E.g. all color channels at 100 %, all at 80 % or all at 65 %. <\/p>\n

Once the desired lighting sequence has been saved, it is displayed daily by the CON1 control unit.<\/p>\n

For the connection, the DRV power supply unit is connected to the input of the CON1. The output power (size) of the DRV must be selected according to the input power (wattage) of the connected products. It is important that the input power of the CON1 (1 watt) is included in the calculation. <\/p>\n

The three outputs of the CON1 can be controlled individually and can be used with any products up to a maximum input power of 160 watts. <\/p>\n

\n=> Input power = 26 W + 53 W + 53 W + 1 W = 133 W
\n=> Output power = 160 W<\/p>\n

With a DRV Y-Cable<\/a> (not included), it is also possible to control several products synchronously via one output.<\/p>\n
